We are an RIBA Chartered architecture practice with a Scandinavian design ethos. To us this means making context and people specific architecture that is healthy and environmentally responsible.
We are interested in the way our designs can manipulate light and bring us closer to nature or the outside. We aim to make our designs age beautifully, responding to changes in season, and use, and we add subtle beauty along the way to all our projects.
We nurture a particular interest in working with existing buildings, or within historic contexts, and from our office in the heart of the historic working town of Bradford on Avon, we approach each new project in an open, friendly and transparent way, and with a great amount of curiosity.
Klas Hyllén Architecture was established in 2013 by Klas Hyllén. Klas, originally from Helsingborg in Southern Sweden, has lived and worked in the UK for over 15 years. Klas studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and later worked in a number of award winning offices before setting up his practice. Klas brings the precision, pragmatism and design flair you’d expect from a Scandinavian designer to every project we take on.
